Baby Fraser came into the world around Thanksgiving and just turned a month old when we got together for our session. The snow the weekend before made us hold off for another week, but it turned out great because Fraser was awake for most of the session. I love it when we get these big beautiful eyes so full of personality. He also has quite a head of hair.
Beth and I did a maternity session awhile back which turned out beautifully. It's a great feeling to be able to give someone something of so much personal value. With newborns it's amazing, because each week they are changing and you just cannot go back.
Beth and Ian have another son as well and they are very sweet parents. Ian was very concerned about Fraser during the session and making sure he was comfortable and warm. He had the great idea of warming up towels in the dryer to lie on the baby inbetween shots. I'm going to use this little trick often. Thanks Ian.

Little Cousins
We had planned to get these three little ones together for this session, but baby Camden has been sick lately and couldn't be around her newborn cousin. Baby Hailey is 3 weeks old and luckily she opened her eyes for us, even if just to give us this look to let us know she wasn't happy that we removed her soft, warm clothing. She even took a little tinkle on Mom! But that is to be expected. Isn't she sweet?
Teagan is just about to turn 3 and I was warned about how much she did not like having her photo taken. True to form, she told me several times not to, and I obliged as much as I could. Luckily I was able to sneak a few here and there that I think really capture her personality. Baby Camdyn has been sick, but you wouldn't have known it with all of her smiles and kisses for her mom.
This is one of Teagan's new ballerina moves!

Stephanie & Rob
These two are just the sweetest couple. They are so laid back and it's really fun to watch them tease each other, with love. Their Wedding was very intimate, with just their closest family and friends in attendance. There was no huge fuss over every detail (although everything was beautiful). It really was what a wedding should be; about the marriage. Hearing little stories here and there throughout the evening provided a glimpse into all that they have been through together. Congratulations to you both and nothing but Best Wishes to you and your families!

Danielle
Danielle is only 11, but seems to have an essence beyond her years. She wanted to include some of her pets into our shoot, which was good because I don't think we could have kept them away if we wanted to. Her dog Yogger is here, but she has two cats as well. I love Yogger's sad eyes and face and sweet disposition. He's just one of those lovey dogs that you could take home with you. I love the images of them together because Yogger's eyes are so sad and Danielle's are just so happy and full of life.

Yeah, TWO!
Today is my beautiful Roman's birthday! He is a strong and happy 2 year old. He is so special and it melts my heart everyday that I get to be his mom ; or MomMom, as he calls me. I have lots of images from all of our fun that I will try to post tomorrow.

All In The Family
Three beautiful girls makes my job easy; mom and dad aren't so bad themselves as well. Michelle and Kevin were gracious in allowing me into their home and going along with a few of my ideas. The images I usually love best are the ones that clients give me funny looks over. Thanks for trusting me.
We have a whole series of Kate making silly faces (courtesy of her father's encouragement). This one is my favorite.
Michelle , I would love to see this first image in that frame above the chair in the office. It would be a fun conversation piece and visitors would have to do a doubletake!

Playtime
A beautiful family on a beautiful day outdoors. Lots of playing and exploring to do before the sun set. Kristi and Scott had fun with the girls, just hanging out and being silly. I love it when a family can relax and not take themselves too seriously. It makes for some honest images and really shows the relationships they have with one another. I chased the little one around quite a bit, as she was always on the go and not interested in me one bit. There was too much to do. I love the one of dad and daughter in the field. Just a simple hug and a kiss, but look at that smile! She's beaming with joy.
