Danielle
Danielle is only 11, but seems to have an essence beyond her years. She wanted to include some of her pets into our shoot, which was good because I don't think we could have kept them away if we wanted to. Her dog Yogger is here, but she has two cats as well. I love Yogger's sad eyes and face and sweet disposition. He's just one of those lovey dogs that you could take home with you. I love the images of them together because Yogger's eyes are so sad and Danielle's are just so happy and full of life.

Yeah, TWO!

Today is my beautiful Roman's birthday! He is a strong and happy 2 year old. He is so special and it melts my heart everyday that I get to be his mom ; or MomMom, as he calls me. I have lots of images from all of our fun that I will try to post tomorrow.

All In The Family
Three beautiful girls makes my job easy; mom and dad aren't so bad themselves as well. Michelle and Kevin were gracious in allowing me into their home and going along with a few of my ideas. The images I usually love best are the ones that clients give me funny looks over. Thanks for trusting me.
We have a whole series of Kate making silly faces (courtesy of her father's encouragement). This one is my favorite.
Michelle , I would love to see this first image in that frame above the chair in the office. It would be a fun conversation piece and visitors would have to do a doubletake!

Playtime
A beautiful family on a beautiful day outdoors. Lots of playing and exploring to do before the sun set. Kristi and Scott had fun with the girls, just hanging out and being silly. I love it when a family can relax and not take themselves too seriously. It makes for some honest images and really shows the relationships they have with one another. I chased the little one around quite a bit, as she was always on the go and not interested in me one bit. There was too much to do. I love the one of dad and daughter in the field. Just a simple hug and a kiss, but look at that smile! She's beaming with joy.

A Cool Cat..............Or Mouse, rather.
I haven't had a chance to process the images of my kids from Halloween yet, but here is one of my Roman in part of his costume a few weeks before. This is so sweet to me because he is holding his Mickey Mouse (Gee Gee) and is wearing the Mickey Mouse ears for his costume.
Is it just me, or is this just too much of a grown up look and stance for an almost 2 year old? My goodness, they grow up quickly!

Owen
This beautiful little boy could not have been more patient with us. You never know with babies what kind of moods you are going to get. They often change very quickly as well, so you just go with the flow and not force anything and great stuff happens. It was chilly, but with the sun out we managed to grab some stuff in the backyard. I'm so glad we did, because this first one is just one of my favorites. We oohed and awwed when put him down in the leaves and saw this expression. We knew it was a keeper. It was Dad's idea to give him a bath just as we were wrapping up. I had to just pick a couple from bathtime because so many of them are precious. At first he didn't like the water at all - and he let us know about it. But after Dad's hands warmed up and the water cooled down, he was totally loving it.
Joe and Melissa are such natural first time parents; as are Kevin and Darci from the previous post. It's so nice to see how calm and relaxed they are around their babies and how soothed that makes them feel. I told Melissa she should become a baby whisperer, because she just had to shh shh Owen and he would become content again.
It was great chatting with you both as well! Looking forward to more Owen sessions this year.

9 days old!
We were so lucky that this little one was awake almost the entire session ~ those eyes are full of so much personality! We kept the house nice and warm and it did the trick to keep him relaxed and comfortable.
Grant is just 9 days old here and was born on my birthday. We did his mama's maternity session just awhile back too. If you scroll down a couple of pages you will see her. She's the Itty Bitty Baby Bump. This was no Itty Bitty Baby though, weighing in at 8lbs 1oz. You never would've guessed by looking at her.
Darci and Kevin were so tired but were real troopers letting me stay and do my thing. I LOVE newborn sessions, so if you are expecting please give me a holler. We've got two more sessions booked so keep an eye on little Grant growing up this year.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!
Boys are so much fun and it's amazing how they are automatically drawn to things that "go". During this session Blaine shared with me his many cool planes, trains, and trucks. He was quite articulate in his manner for a three year old and had a lot to say. His sister Ayden slept for the first half but then joined us and showed off her big beautiful eyes. Kristina & Rob ~ thanks for letting me hang out with you guys!

Mama Mia
I met Beth and her family when I showed up at her house to do a maternity/family shoot. I always just end up shooting whatever is going on around me, so we got a lot of great family stuff. There little boy is so so handsome and talks a lot for his age. He even makes monkey noises! They were gracious enough to let me stay what was probably too long. Seriously Beth, I didn't know what time it was until I got into my car! Well, we got a lot to show for it. I'm only letting you peek at a couple of the real maternity shots because they are very beautiful, but also very personal and I just feel better if she gets to see them first. Oh, I have to mention that she was concerned about the fact that she hadn't had her eyebrows done recently. Now, look at the last photo and tell me if YOU notice. Ummm.......I think not.

Family Fun
A few posts back you might remember that this family and I were having trouble coordinating schedules to have an outdoor session all together . Well, we finally made it happen. Although the leaves really hadn't changed to the gorgeous fall colors we were hoping for, I still love the little moments between them all that we ended up with. Aren't they sweet? And little Miss Kinsey could never take a bad picture.

There's always time for a diaper change. What team work!

Can't you just tell how much they love their baby girl, and how much he loves his wife in these next two.
